Party Animal

Party Animal

In the two years I lived in Cambodia I swear I aged ten. The illustration above portrays a typical conversation between me and my BFF, Elena. Sure, every now and then we could be found violently slam dancing at Angkor What? but most nights we were all about catching that ever elusive sleep. A stack of pizzas from Coco Presto + Zenon Girl of the 21st Century + asleep before midnight = an ideal evening. And it worked well with our weekend brunch plans, which took place so early that if we’re being honest we should just call it breakfast.

I really put in some effort this New Year’s Eve, though. I went to a party, watched the ball drop, and promptly fell asleep on my friend’s couch.

25 going on 85.
